$16,000 SPONSORSHIP BOOSTS 10 DECEMBER MEETING

The next harness race meeting of the Goulburn Harness Racing club has been boosted to the tune of $16,000 courtesy of many Goulburn based businesses.  With Christmas just around the corner, the 10th December seemed an ideal time to entice Goulburn businesses to have a christmas work party at the track whilst promoting the excitement of harness racing.

Following some quick negotiations on the part of Club Treasurer, John Ridley, the Goulburn businesses have enabled the club to schedule an afternoon of country racing where participants can race for $6,000 in the country front events whilst restricted races will carry $3,000.
